About Us

EPICC, in fact, is spelled correctly. It's the acronym for one of our programs here at the Weber-Morgan Health Department: Healthy Living through Environment, Policy, and Improved Clinical Care. See, EPICC - well technically, "Healthy Living through EPICC". The EPICC program is housed in the Division of Health Promotion at the health department.

Weber-Morgan Health Department consists of five divisions - Women, Infant, and Children (WIC), Community Health Nursing, Environmental Health, Health Promotion, and Administration. WMHD is one department of others under Weber County that provides services to local residents. Each division in the health department provides services that help promote and protect public health. The mission of the department is, "To assess, promote and protect the public health needs of our community, enhance the quality of our environment and assure access to appropriate services delivered by a professional staff dedicated to excellence and innovation."

The content of this blog is provided by the Division of Health Promotion and will highlight programs, topics, and people in the Weber and Morgan areas. It is the intent of this blog to provide objective material for individuals to use in their daily lives.

If you have something you would like highlighted in the blog please send us an email!

Like my 9th grade English teacher would say, "have a happy happy joy joy day!"
