2015 USA Cycling Mountain Bike National Championships

The USA Cycling Fat Bike National Championships is being held in Ogden this weekend.  How exciting!!!  There are lots of Demo Fat Bikes out there to check out and ride.  Representatives from Weber Pathways and Ogden Trails Network will be there.  Go out and enjoy the event!


THURSDAY, FEB. 12
6pm-7pm: Women's Gear Clinic with Rebecca Rusch
Powder Mountain Resort, Hidden Lake Lodge
Learn what to wear, what to eat, what the right tire pressure is, gear questions, and how to keep your water from freezing. This clinic is inside the Hidden Lake Lodge. Red Bull and GU will be available. Free fat bike demos will be provided by Borealis.
7pm-8pm: Women's Specific Outdoor Night Ride
Powder Mountain Race Venue at Hidden Lake
Take an easy spin on the trail with Rebecca and her expert coaches. Free fat bike demos will be provided by Borealis.
 
FRIDAY, FEB, 13
10am-2pm: Course Pre-Ride Open To Public
Powder Mountain
Free fat bike demos from Borealis and other brands. All levels are welcome, groups will be split into experience and comfort based.
3-5pm: Rusch To Glory Book Signing
Courtyard by Marriott- Ogden, UT
Meet Rebecca Rusch, grab a copy of Rusch To Glory and have the Queen of Pain sign it just for you!
6-8pm: Fat Bike kick-off party Hosted by TRP
Come celebrate with us at Alleged on Historic 25th Street, downtown Ogden. Meet some good people, have a few drinks and dance the night away. No need to RSVP, this party is open to the public, must be 21.
 
SATURDAY, FEB. 14
9am-5pm: Race day & Celebration!
Powder Mountain: Hidden Lake
Gear up and enjoy race day with hot brews from The Daily Rise, a tent village, and a top-shelf view of the course. Borealis and local bike shops will provide bike demos for those looking for a new adventure. At 10:30 Sierra Nevada and local brews will be available for all riders and spectators over 21. If that isn't motivation enough, come up for a chance to enter a FREE Fat Bike raffle that will ensue after the race.
Amateur events will start at 9:00 followed with open races at 1:00.
